Welcome back Dolphin Class!
Well how fabulous it was to find out on the first day of term that Dolphin Class would be returning as a class early in Term 4!
We have made a great start to this term so far. We launched work around the book 'Bee and Me' across the whole school and, as you can see from our artwork, this has been a great start to Term 4.
In English, we have written a narrative to go with 'Bee and Me' and we will be writing riddles, a biography and so much more.
We are reading the book 'Treason' by Bertie Doherty in our daily class reading sessions and continuing Accelerated Reader every day in school. In Maths, we will be re-visiting a number of topics, which include reflection and translation, area and perimeter and fractions, decimals and percentages. Our times table test is every Friday now.
We are studying the Tudor period in History and in Science, we are looking at Properties and Changes of materials.
PE day is still on a Thursday.
In RSE we are learning about first aid, how to manage money and about our responsibilities that we have in our community.
The challenge is on for our Dojo Rewards as we have 2,500 to collect as a class by the end of term - I believe that we can do it!
What a great term this will be!
