Year 2

We are excited to share what we are learning in Term 3 and Term 4. Check back regularly for updates, photos and important information.

This term we will be reading ‘The Snail and the Whale’ by Julia Donaldson. We will be writing a setting description as well as a letter.

We begin the term with shape before moving onto money.

This term we are looking at living things and their habitats.

We travel deep down under looking at Australia and comparing it to the UK.

We will be focusing on shells and hopefully creating our own 3D model of a shell using clay.

We will be having Yoga each week and continue to have outdoor PE which will be football in Term 3.

We will be looking at the religion of Islam.

Continue to practice number bonds and times tables weekly, ready for our tests each Friday. Reading should be daily.
