St. James' Parent Association
2023-2024
The St. James' Parent Association (SJPA) is a charity with the aim of fundraising to help enrich the learning environment of all children at St. James' Church of England Primary Academy. We would not be able to fundraise without the support of our volunteers, donors and the parents and children that attend our events. We would like to thank all of you for your past support and hope that you will continue to aid us in helping our school.
With the funds raised recently, we have been able to purchase another laptop for the school, provide anti-bullying workshops for the children and provide £1,000 worth of books for the school library.
We have also recently funded the new sensory circuits found in the school corridors.
If you shop at smile.amazon.co.uk and choose "St. James' Parents Association" as the charity you would like to support, they donate a small percentage of the sale to us. It costs you nothing but allows us to provide additional resources for our children. Please spread the word.
Stamptastic.co.uk offer a wonderful personalised name stamp you can choose to label all of your child's uniform and school items throughout their time at school. If you use the code ME3 0BS, we earn a small commission.
Over the next year we will be losing two members of our committee. To keep our charity and the good work it does going we need new members, along with fresh ideas. Please consider if you have some time or resources to spare that could help us. Committee members meet one evening a month to plan and organise fundraising. You can take on a specific role or join as part of the general committee as we run events such as cake sales, discos and fayres. Any help you can offer, big or small, is greatly appreciated. The AGM will be held in September/October and all parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Please feel free to contact us with ideas for fundraising initiatives or to find out more about the committee or to volunteer your help. Our email address is stjamesparentsassociation@gmail.com.
Thank you for your support.
